2BX.BIKE — October 2026
1.1 2BX.BIKE is operated by 2BX Commercial Solutions S.L. (hereafter "2BX"), a Spanish company whose registered office is at Calle Doctor Francesc Darder 9, 08034 Barcelona, Spain, tax identification number (NIF) B13674346. 2BX publishes data and tools about new and second-hand bicycles: prices, listings, market trends and valuations.
1.2 These Terms and Conditions (the "T&Cs") govern the use of the 2BX.BIKE website and of all the Services, free or paid, and the purchase of passes and plans. They are accepted when an account is created and again at checkout. The version in force on the day of a purchase applies to that purchase.
1.3 2BX does not sell bicycles and is never a party to a sale between a User and a retailer. The bicycles shown in the Services are offered by independent retailers on their own websites and under their own terms.
1.4 2BX may amend these T&Cs. Members holding a paid plan are informed by e-mail at least 30 days before a change that affects their plan takes effect, and may cancel their plan before that date. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this page.
In these T&Cs, the following capitalised terms, in the singular or plural, have the meanings below:
3.1 Free services. Without paying, Users can search Le Cherche-Vélo, use La Cote 2BX with some results locked, and read the bike and brand pages. The free Services are financed by advertising, including video advertisements as described in Article 10.
3.2 Passes. A Pass removes advertising, unlocks La Cote 2BX and unlocks bike pages up to the number included in the Pass, for the period stated at purchase. A Pass is paid once and does not renew.
3.3 Plans. Plans are reserved for Professionals. The Pro plan includes, in particular, the ad-free Services, La Cote 2BX, the bike pages, brand reports and trade-in proposals. The Pro Advanced plan adds market intelligence, price monitoring and access to the API. The exact content, limits and price of each Pass and Plan are shown on the offer page before purchase.
3.4 Free trial. A Member may ask for a free trial. 2BX decides whether to grant it. A trial lasts one week, requires no payment details and ends automatically; it never turns into a paid Plan by itself.
3.5 2BX improves the Services continuously and may add, change or withdraw features. During a period already paid for, the essential features of a Pass or Plan are not reduced.
4.1 An account requires a valid e-mail address and a password. The Member provides accurate information and keeps it up to date. Subscribing to a Plan requires the business name and VAT number of the Professional.
4.2 Login credentials are personal and confidential. An account may not be shared between several people; in an Organisation, each person has their own Member account. Any unauthorised access must be reported without delay to contact@2bx.bike.
4.3 Users undertake not to:
4.4 The Services, their content and the database are protected by intellectual property rights, including the sui generis right of the database maker. 2BX grants Members a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to consult and use the Data for their own personal needs or for the internal needs of their business, for the duration of their access. Any other use requires the prior written consent of 2BX.
5.1 2BX provides access to a database of bicycle models covering a large number of brands over the past years. Users can consult information such as technical specifications and the price recommended by the manufacturer or distributor, when available. Although this information is gathered from publicly accessible and reputable sources, 2BX cannot guarantee its accuracy and invites Users to consult it with care and to verify it before using it.
5.2 The market insights provided by 2BX include information and estimates about bicycle prices. They are based on prices observed at certain retailers for certain models and on calculations made by 2BX. These prices and estimates are provided for convenience and should not be used as the sole basis for a decision without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete or more up-to-date sources. Any reliance on them is at the User's own risk.
5.3 The listings shown in Le Cherche-Vélo are published by third-party retailers. Their price and availability may have changed since they were last checked. Following a listing takes the User to the retailer's website, through a 2BX link that records the click (see the Privacy Policy). Any purchase is made directly with the retailer, under its own terms; 2BX is not a party to it.
6.1 Prices are shown in euros before purchase. Plan prices are shown excluding VAT; VAT is added according to the Professional's country, or the reverse-charge mechanism applies to a business established in another EU Member State with a valid VAT number. Pass prices include VAT.
6.2 Payment is made by card through our payment provider Stripe. 2BX never receives or stores card details. An invoice is issued for each payment.
6.3 A Plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period, for the same duration, and the card on file is charged at the start of each new period, unless the Plan has been cancelled before the renewal date (Article 7).
6.4 2BX may change the price of a Plan. The new price applies from the first renewal at least 30 days after the Member has been informed by e-mail; a Member who does not accept it may cancel before that renewal.
6.5 If a payment fails, Stripe may retry it. If the period ends without payment, access to the paid features ends.
6.6 A Pass ends at the end of the period stated at purchase. Once its bike-page quota is used up, no further pages are unlocked, but the other benefits continue until the end of the period.
7.1 A Member can cancel a Plan at any time from their account (billing section) or by writing to contact@2bx.bike. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: the Plan is no longer renewed and its features remain available until that date. Except where the law provides otherwise, the period already started is not refunded, in whole or in part.
7.2 A Consumer has a right of withdrawal of 14 days from the purchase, without giving any reason, under the Spanish consumer protection law (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007). To exercise it, the Consumer informs 2BX by an unequivocal statement, for example an e-mail to contact@2bx.bike. 2BX refunds the payment, using the same means of payment, within 14 days of receiving the request.
7.3 Professionals do not have a right of withdrawal.
8.1 Access to the API is included in the Pro Advanced plan or granted under a specific agreement. It works with a personal access token, which the Member keeps secret and must not share. 2BX may revoke or replace a token, in particular if it may have been compromised.
8.2 Usage limits may apply per endpoint; requests above the limit are refused. Each request is recorded (account, endpoint, parameters, date and IP address) for security, enforcing the limits and billing.
8.3 Data obtained through the API is subject to the licence in Article 4.4. In particular, it may not be resold, redistributed or used to build a competing database.
9.1 Customers who have concluded an agreement with 2BX may embed the Widget on their own website. The customer declares the domains on which the Widget will be shown; 2BX may refuse to display it elsewhere.
9.2 The customer is responsible for its website and for informing its own visitors as required by law. When the Widget is used, 2BX processes the visitors' technical data as described in the Privacy Policy.
9.3 2BX may suspend the Widget in the event of misuse or breach of these T&Cs.
10.1 The free Services display advertising, including video advertisements that cannot be skipped and that are shown at certain intervals before some content is displayed. Users with a Pass or a Plan do not see them.
10.2 Advertisements are served by 2BX or by its partners, such as Google. They are personalised only with the User's consent, given in the cookie banner.
10.3 2BX is not responsible for the products, services or websites advertised.
11.1 A Member can delete their account at any time from their account (Privacy & data section) or by writing to contact@2bx.bike. A Plan that renews must be cancelled first. Invoices are kept for the period required by law, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
11.2 2BX may suspend or close an account in the event of a breach of these T&Cs (in particular automated extraction of the Data, fraud or non-payment), after notice by e-mail, or immediately in the event of a serious breach. In that case, the period already paid for is not refunded.
12.1 2BX makes every effort to keep the Services available but may suspend or limit access to carry out maintenance, repairs or improvements. To the extent permitted by law, 2BX is not liable for damage resulting from unavailability, interruptions or loss of continuity of the Services, nor for indirect damage such as loss of profit, business or reputation.
12.2 As stated in Article 5, 2BX does not guarantee that the Data is reliable, complete or up to date, and is not liable for decisions taken on the basis of the product and price information provided.
12.3 2BX is not liable for the bicycles offered by retailers, for their websites or for any sale concluded with them.
12.4 Nothing in these T&Cs excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, in particular for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor the rights that Consumers enjoy under the mandatory provisions of consumer law, including the legal guarantee of conformity of digital content and services.
13.1 2BX processes Users' personal data as data controller, as described in the Privacy Policy. The use of cookies is described in the Cookie Policy.
14.1 These T&Cs are governed by Spanish law. A Consumer keeps the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
14.2 In the event of a dispute, the User is invited to contact 2BX first at contact@2bx.bike to seek an amicable solution.
14.3 Failing an amicable solution, a Consumer may bring the matter before the courts of their place of residence. For Professionals, the courts of Barcelona (Spain) have exclusive jurisdiction.
